Enjoy dining, recreation, entertainment, and travel opportunities at Fort Buchanan—even if you’re not in the military!

What is the MWR Membership Card?

The MWR Membership Card is an annual membership that allows approved civilian community members to enter Fort Buchanan to use participating Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) facilities and services.

Your card is valid for one year and is non-transferable. Membership provides access to participating facilities; purchases, activities, rentals, and event admission are charged separately.

Who is it for?

The program is designed for individuals and families from the surrounding civilian community who do not otherwise have authorized access to Fort Buchanan’s participating MWR facilities. You do not need to be a military member to apply.

Applicants ages 18 and older must complete a background clearance before a card can be issued.
